Class Progress Tool
Students and instructors can both access reports and details on progress through the course such as Grades, Objectives, etc.
You may want to use the Class Progress tool to do any of the following:
- Monitor progress for any or all users in your course
- Prepare progress reports
- View user profiles, email users, or instant message users
- Track when a user accesses the course and downloads course content
- Track a user's grades, completion of learning objectives, access of content topics, participation in discussions, assignment submissions, quiz submissions, checklist completion, survey responses, login history, and system access.
- Set up intelligent Agents for learners who are falling behind in a course
- View feedback and submissions for assignments, discussion topics, and other assessments for individual learners
The Class Progress tool is located in the Course Tools menu option in the Nav Bar.
Click on the 'Settings' link to set which items you would like to see on the main screen, along with other customizable options.
Note: Course Access and Login History are not the same. Course Access shows the date an individual last went into the course, where Login History shows the date they last logged in to Brightspace. A user can log in to Brightspace but that does not necessarily mean they went into the course itself.
