A zip file of course content can be shared from a colleague who uses Brightspace or an old export from Blackboard. Make sure you have the intact zip file and proceed to your Brightspace course.

Be sure to open the course where the content will be copied into.
1. Login to Brightspace and click the course where content will be imported.
2. Choose the Settings icon near the top-right of the screen and select Import/Export/Copy Components from the drop-down.
a. You may also navigate to Course Tools>Course Admin>Import/Export/Copy Components.
3. Under Import/Export/Copy Components, scroll down to Import Components. Select it and choose Start
4. Drag and drop or upload the ZIP file obtained from your Blackboard course. Once the file is uploaded choose Import All Components
5. The import will process and give you a success message. From there you may view the content just imported, import more content or Manage Course Dates.
Choose View Content to go to your course.
