Brightspace - "Your Webex authorization has expired" message when trying to use Webex features.

When trying to use Cisco Webex features in Brightspace you receive the following error message:

"Your Webex authorization has expired. Please reauthorize webex." OR "Your Webex token has expired. Please use the logout button in the upper right of your Virtual Meetings window to log out of Webex and sign back in.

The following steps should resolve this error:

1. Access the Cisco Webex link in any of your Brightspace courses. Click the Virtual Meetings tab if it doesn't automatically show.

2. In the top right, next to support, click the Log Out button (it should look like a rectangle with an arrow in it).

3. Click Sign in with Webex Meetings.

Sign into Webex prompt.

4. Enter your firstname.lastname@cortland.edu email address, when prompted.

5. If redirected to myRedDragon, enter your NetID and Password, then authenticate with Duo, if prompted.

6. Accept the permissions request, when prompted.

Webex Education Connector prompts for Blackboard.

7. You have now reauthorized your Cisco Webex account in Brightspace and will be able to access it again.   If you continue to have difficulties contact Tech Help @ (607) 753-2500 or thc@cortland.edu
