Teams Calling - Transferring Calls

When transferring a Teams call there are two options, Transfer and Consult and Transfer

Transfer

1. In an active Teams call select the Transfer button
   
    
2. In the dialog box that opens enter the name or number of the Transferee
3. The default option is Transfer to an audio call – other options are
   1. Transfer to their work voicemail
   2. Transfer to any number available for the transferee
      
       
4. Select Transfer

Consult

To speak or chat with a transferee before transferring a call use the Consult feature

1. In an active Teams call select the Consult button
   
    
2. In the dialog box that open enter the name or number of the transferee
   
    
3. To call the transferee before transferring the call select the number to call
   
    
4. To chat with the transferee select the Open Chat button to start a Teams chat in a separate window
   
    
5. Select Transfer to send the call
