Information Resources reviews reports of possible phishing emails. To report a phishing email, forward the offending email to phishing@cortland.edu. We will take a look at the email to determine if it is a scam, block the email as necessary, and report any offending sites.

If you get a suspicious email but do not see it in the Phish Bowl, do NOT assume it is safe. There are many variants of every Phish, and new ones are sent each day. Course Teacher Evaluations are a way for students to evaluate the course as a student, and offer comments and suggestions for its continued improvement. Responses are kept anonymous and are not linked to students' identification in any manner. Students' NetID, C Number, and name are never exposed to a faculty member when they review Course Teacher Evaluation Responses.
