For new hires, please order hardware two weeks in advance of the individual's start date. Desktop computers should only be purchased when the assigned staff do not require any computing mobility for their work. We recommend that all faculty members are issued a laptop, which - when paired with a docking monitor and peripherals - can offer the same ergonomic and user interface experience as a desktop computer.
