Teams Calling - Checking Office Voicemail

Body

Voicemail that is left for a personal number can be retrieved either through Teams Calling History section or it can be found in your email. See the Knowledge Base article on Checking Personal Voicemail

However, although there is a list of calls received in a queue, any voicemail that is left for an office number will be retrieved from an Office 365 Outlook Group.

What is a Group?

An Outlook group (officially known as a Microsoft 365 Group) is a shared workspace in Outlook used to collaborate with colleagues. It provides a dedicated group email address, a shared inbox, a calendar for scheduling events, and a centralized location for shared files. Only approved members can view the group content, and membership requires approval from a group owner.

The group created to receive office voicemails is a private group and is only used for voicemail. The membership of the voicemail group will typically include the office administrative assistant(s), support staff, and members of leadership.
