When you are moved to Teams calling first, your department/group will receive notification of the approximate timeline of your move about a week ahead of the switch.
Then when your number is moved you will receive an email from Microsoft Teams that looks like this:
Upon receiving the email your number will be active in Teams and your desk phone will no longer be active.
When you receive the email, please go to the Settings section of Teams to personalize your Teams Calling settings.
