The next screen describes Argos and gives you two options: Argos Web Viewer and Argos
-
Argos Web Viewer: Compatible with both Macs and Windows computers, this version of Argos runs in your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.)
Note: The instructions going forward in this document are written for the
Argos Web Viewer.
-
Click the “Argos Web Viewer” button. This will cause a new window to open:
-
On the left-hand side, you’ll see a listing of folders containing the Banner reports. Banner reports are typically housed in the Department Functions folder.

-
The reports, or dashboards in Argos provide a visual interface to run the reports.
-
An example is ST_Class_List
-
Double click ST_Class List - The Dashboard will now load

-
The report dashboard will now open. You’ll see a list of terms (E.G. – Spring Term Spring 2025)
-
You may select additional parameters, to filter the report, make sure to uncheck the select all checkbox
-
When you select or type your parameters, hit the search button
-
From this view, you can click on column names to sort the list by that category. Clicking it again will sort it the other way. For example, A -> Z or Z -> A
-
You can also filter the list, note: Filter the list here will not filter the results if you use the CSV reports

-
If you would like to export the list, there are two methods:
-
Click on the gear icon in the bottom-right corner of the student list.

-
A small pop-up will appear with three options. Click “Export All to CSV”
-
Your computer will then prompt you to either open or save this file. Select “Open with” and click on “Browse…”
-
A “Choose Helper Application” window will now appear. Select Microsoft Excel and then click “OK”. Your document should now appear in Excel!
-
Click on the “Reports” drop-down (shown below) to select the specific report you’d like to view.
-
Then, select the options below it – like Term and Major – and click the “Run” button next to “Reports”
