Primary Website (dotCMS)

SUNY Cortland utilizes dotCMS as its content management system to manage its primary website. This includes all web pages at www2.cortland.edu. Official department and office websites are maintained through dotCMS. dotCMS support is available through the Marketing Office. The Marketing Office provides training on the use of dotCMS and best practices for creating accessible and effective web content while upholding the college's brand standards. 

Specialty Website Projects

Sometimes web projects have special development needs and are built outside of the college's primary website architecture. In the past, this has included websites such as The Dragon Chronicle or Musical Legacy Project. These websites require custom development in order to achieve a unique function or specific purpose. Custom web development work is performed by the Programming and Integrations team within Information Resources. Requests for custom web projects require review and approval before they are undertaken.

Your request will be reviewed by our staff for approval and then scheduled as close to your requested start date as possible. Please note that filling out this request does not guarantee your project will be approved. The ISS Project Portfolio manager may reach out to you during the review process for additional information regarding the project. You will receive notification whether your request has been approved or not. Please allow up to three weeks for approval.
