Information Systems and Security Project Portfolio

Information Systems and Security (ISS) evaluates projects throughout the year. Before the start of each academic semester – ISS leadership reviews the project backlog to curate a list of projects for the upcoming semester. This list is reassessed throughout the semester. Urgent projects will be added to the current semester’s project list as needed.

Projects are prioritized based on the criteria below. Additional criteria will be considered at ISS leadership’s discretion:

  1. Alignment with SUNY Cortland’s and Information Resources’ mission and goals
  2. Resource availability
  3. The impact on the campus if the project is (or isn’t) completed
  4. Government or SUNY Mandates/Laws

To submit a project request for review, please use the Project Request button on the right to submit your project request.
