Information Resources has a pool of laptops that can be loaned out for a period of one semester to financially disadvantaged students. Students eligible for a Pell Grant with a FAFSA Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of $0 can apply for the laptop loan. The loan is subject to approval based on the financial aid needs of the student. Before requesting a loaner laptop, where applicable students are encouraged to pursue the purchase of one through the Student Emergency Fund. If a student loses access to their personal computer, they can also apply to take out a laptop for up to two weeks while they repair or replace their personal device. The student is responsible for returning the laptop and is subject to financial penalties and/or account holds if the laptop is damaged or not returned.
