Academic Manager: Responsible for managing academic spaces (any space used for instruction) in EMS. This includes Academic Planning, Adding/Removing Features, Notification Rules, Everyday User Templates for Academic Spaces, and serving as a training resource for managers of academic spaces.
Current Academic Manager is the Registrar's Office/Mary Cervoni/Kristen Dushko.
Non-Academic Manager: Responsible for managing non-academic spaces (any reservable space that is not used for instruction) in EMS. This includes Adding/Removing Features, Notification Rules, and Everyday User Templates for non-academic spaces, and serving as a training resource for managers of non-academic spaces.
Current Non-Academic Manager is FOS/Jennifer Buell
Featured Events Manager: Approves/Denies events to be listed on the Featured Events calendar through Master Calendar. A featured events feed and link to full calendar is on the SUNY Cortland homepage.
Current Featured Events Manager is Marketing/Wendy Brooks.
Technical Support Admin: Primary contact for EMS support, responsible for escalating end user issues/errors to EMS support and coordinating a response. Assist in the troubleshooting of errors and unexpected behavior from the application. Responsible for managing desktop client user accounts and everyday user accounts. This includes the creation/deactivating of new accounts, adding/removing permissions, and troubleshooting account access. Works with end users and Tech Help to document and troubleshoot errors in the Desktop Client, Web App, and Master Calendar. Responsible for the maintenance and configuration of Master Calendar. Coordinates upgrades and patches with System Administrator.
Current Technical Support Admin is Programming and Integrations/Amanda Sharpsteen.
Custom Development: Maintains integrations with EMS Master Calendar for the featured events page in DotCMS, support custom code to use as the sports and fields calendar, and maintain campus events channel integrations with DotCMS.
Custom Development is supported by Programming and Integrations.
System Administrator: Responsible for server upgrades and server related troubleshooting/maintenance.
Current System Admin is Systems Operations and Security/James Durr.
