Find and click the Discussion Board on the course menu or as directed by your instructor

Following the directions of your instructor, you can access discussions by clicking on the title of the discussion.

Select a forum title to view the messages. Forum titles in bold contain unread posts.

The main Discussion Board page appears with a list of available discussion forums. On this page, you can perform these actions:

1. Select a forum to open the thread of posts.
2. Select the number in the Unread Posts column for quick access to a forum's unread messages.
3. Select Create Thread to create your own post.

Depending on how your instructor has it set up, you may see a Create Thread button to create your initial post.

To create a post, you must enter a Subject (instructors may give directions on this)

• Create your message, you can use the text editor options, based on your instructor’s directions.
• You can attach documents with the “Browse My Computer” option
• Submit when completed.

Reply to posts as instructed by your instructor by clicking on the thread link, and selecting Reply
