To connect to WiFi on your personal device, follow the steps below:

Select Eduroam from the list of available WiFi networks.
Do not connect to Cortland-Guest or Cortland-Wifi.

Enter your SUNY Cortland NetID with @cortland.edu on the end and your normal myRedDragon password.

If you are on an iPhone you may be asked to trust the cert, if prompted select 'trust'

If you are on an Android phone or Chromebook, you may see some combination of the following settings. You should set the options you see as follows:
EAP Method: Select PEAP
Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2
CA certificate: 'Use system certificates' if it is an option, otherwise choose 'n/a' or 'do not validate' or 'do not check'
Identity Field: SUNY Cortland NetID with @cortland.edu
Anonymous Identity Field: Leave Blank
Password Field: SUNY Cortland Password
Domain: cortland.edu
If you are unable to connect, please submit a ticket
Additional Information:
If you are using a Mac to connect to Eduroam, and you have previously attended another university, you may be unable to connect to Eduroam. You can resolve this issue by following these steps:
1. Search for Keychain Access on your Mac.
2. Click on the Login link.
3. Select the "Certificates" tab.
4. Delete all certificates related to other universities or Eduroam, these often end in .edu
5. Go to Network Settings in your system preferences
6. Click Advanced Options
7. Forget Eduroam, Cortland-Wifi, and Cortland-Guest if present.
8. Attempt to connect to Eduroam, entering your Cortland username and password when prompted.
9. When prompted to trust new certificates, select Trust and enter your Mac's password.
